It was after the completion of $4.48 billion acquisition of Yahoo's operating business that Verizon has formed a new subsidiary called Oath that included both AOL and Yahoo. Oath is a diverse house of more than a billion people around the world and advertising was always the key to Verizon’s plans for Oath. With the digital transformation taking place, the Oath owned Yahoo plans to go digital as it unveils its plans to pioneer digital creativity in one of the largest digital conferences.
The second Big Idea Chair Summit was on November 8, the full-house 500-attendant conference saw two global digital gurus, David Shing, digital prophet, Oath, and Jessica Lauretti, global head of RYOT Studio, on stage to reveal their visions and achievements in digital creativity and talk about the future of storytelling. RYOT studio has a presence in 14 countries across five continents, and offers premium end-to-end content marketing solution to brands. It is to be the Oath’s in- house state of the art global content studio. With its cutting edge technologies, the company is exploring the digital advertising solutions to reach towards more steady customers. In an interview Lauretti , global head of RYOT Studio, said content marketing is raising its head in the digital world, and that VR technology is still “one of today’s hottest trends to deliver human stories and raise the awareness of cultural uniqueness through immersive capabilities on a global scale”. In this way, Yahoo showed its efforts in creating a digital marketing niche by holding one of the largest digital conferences last week and is expected to succeed.
