Established in the year 2012 and located in San Francisco, Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand the user behavior. The company has recently raised $30 million in product development process as it aims in helping product people build better products. The company has undergone crucial changes in the recent years and now serves around 5000 companies, including Microsoft, PayPal, Twitter and many others. Amplitude has got its own technologies that digs deeper into the analytic process thereby knowing the customer behavior and brings solutions that aids in the product development. Apart from this $30 million that is being raised by the company, it has an addition funding of $29 million that can be used to further scale the operations globally, says the authorities.
As the company is backed by leading investors like Benchmark, Battery Ventures and many such companies, it turns out to be the best analytics solution of choice for many established companies who want to understand their users in a better way. The new Series C funding was led by IVP, with existing investors Benchmark Capital and Battery Ventures also participating. IVP’s Somesh Dash will become a board observer. The company will use the funds to further scale its operations globally and build new solutions for product teams. In total it has raised $59 million, which is the biggest achievement so far.
