Microsoft assures success for LinkedIn’s stand alone venture

Microsoft assures success for LinkedIn’s stand alone venture

Microsoft connects LinkedIn with its business software.  Microsoft’s $26 billion acquisition of LinkedIn, announced in June, was finalized in December.  In this venture Microsoft adds links between its business focused software and LinkedIn.

The launch of Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 software for salespeople is found useful to LinkedIn in collecting information about the customers, the details which are required to make useful interactions.  Dynamics 365 software has also developed another tool that assists in hiring managers in the LinkedIn recruiting tools.

This is kind of our first milestone in integration” of the two companies, said Alysa Taylor, general manager for marketing in Microsoft’s business applications group, which includes Dynamics. In comparison with the other software tools, 365 is cheaper and is most affordable.

According to the current strategy of the company, getting access to the software will cost around $135 per user, per month.  Microsoft executives have already assured LinkedIn to make use of the default internet-resume portal to make the company’s existing software smarter.

There has been a considerable growth for the company as it is revealed in the reports. LinkedIn claims to have an increase in the number of users from 467 million in October to 500 million as of now.  Although it is the first venture, it is expected to be a big success, considering the facts.

What more do we want, the system is beautifully interwoven with the technology of Dynamics as well as LinkedIn’s sales navigator and will definitely bring the expected outcome in the near future.
