Splice Machine, which is a provider of scalable SQL database and software, is teaming up with Heirloom Computing in order to enable the enterprises to modernize the database set-up as well as Splice Machine’s Intelligent SQL database. The firm is also modernizing legacy, mission-critical mainframe applications with its new database solution and software.
Enterprises will gain access to this new functionality by running this application on the Splice Machine platform, like leveraging real-time and the historical data in analytics and it is injecting AI and other machine learning apps into their applications. “With Heirloom Computing's cloud-native re-platforming solution combined with migration to our scale-out SQL database, the barriers to mainframe modernization are broken down, resulting in reduced costs, increased business agility and entirely new business outcomes through the infusion of AI and machine learning," stated Monte Zweben, co-founder and CEO of Splice Machine.
