CyberPeace Foundation will provide training in cybersecurity to more than 5 Lakh students in India under a new initiative

Policy experts and think tanks of CyberPeace Foundation have together launched an initiative recently to add a training program on cybersecurity and cyber peace. The initiative was proposed to the Ministry of Education and AICTE to collaborate with the government, academia, civil societies, and industry. The main motto behind the launch of this initiative is to make that we can address the ever-growing issues that arise from the rise of technological advancements like radicalization, cybercrimes, and harassment. We must build an ecosystem of cybersecurity that is secure because the youths of the nation are becoming a liability on the internet. Other objectives of this initiative are that it will continue to address the main issues that have affected the growth of technology, and we must also develop new solutions to address the problems faced on the internet.

As a part of this program, almost five lakhs of educators and students will engage in activities in regards to cybersecurity and CyberPeace. Awareness workshops and Volunteer induction workshops will now have participants to collaborate with the industry. A network of 25,000 volunteers has been formed as an integral part of the initiative. Some of the topics covered by the initiative are digital rights, digital citizenship, cyber health, cyber ethics, and wellness.
