Andreessen Horowitz Announces Crypto Fund III

Andreesen Horowitz has launched its $2.2 billion fund that will invest in crypto the world. This will allow the VC to continue investing in crypto networks and the founders and the teams. The company said that it believes that the next wave of computing innovation will be driven by crypto.

This fund will help Andreesen Horowitz invest in the “most exciting areas of the crypto world.” The company has already been doing some splendid work in this area, having worked with seed-stage projects to full-developed networks. Andreesen Horowitz has been investing in crypto since 2013.

In its statement, the VC said: “The history of crypto shows that asset prices may fluctuate but innovation continues to increase through each cycle. We’ve never been more excited about where crypto is headed and we’re going all in on the talented, visionary founders who are determined to be part of crypto’s next chapter. If you’re one of them, we’d love to hear from you.”

The company also said that it is radically optimistic about crypto’s potential to restore trust and enable new kinds of governance where communities collectively make important decisions about how networks evolve, what behaviors are permitted, and how economic benefits are distributed.
