Yandex Introduces Public Cloud Platform, For Companies

Yandex, a Russian internet company has rolled out its intelligent cloud platform. Dubbed as, Yandex.Cloud, the platform will allow different companies to create and support web pages and services.

By utilizing Yandex’s next-generation technology and infrastructure, the companies can deploy the cloud platform across local data centers for storing and using databases containing personal information in Russia.

No matter how big or small is the company, the cloud platform will help to expand their business or boost their effectiveness without large-scale investments. The good thing about the new cloud platform is that it is easy to use and its prices are affordable. It will be an added benefit to use Yandex.Cloud in their existing IT infrastructure or even serve as an alternative to it.

According to the company, it has a wide range of products and services that are currently being used by millions of customers daily. Yandex.Cloud provides access to the same infrastructure and technologies that the company use to power Yandex services, creating unique opportunities for any business to develop their products and services based on the new platform.

There are a lot of companies including industry leaders such as Tinkoff Bank, S7 Airlines, and X5 Retail Group who has been using Yandex.Cloud in test mode through an invite-only private preview since April this year.

“We are actively improving our services to ensure passenger comfort. Many of our business challenges require resources that are available on demand. Having tested Yandex.Cloud, we see opportunities for us to use a range of services, including development tools and services based on machine intelligence”, said Nikolay Mukhanov, CTO, and S7 TechLab.
