Cloud automation platform giant and Versent Group subsidiary Stax has appointed its first-ever managing director in the form of Mike Middaugh. He prior serves as the MD of Australian firm and has spent almost 15 years in the technology sector and has worked in countries like the US and Asia. He has held several positions and roles at software payroll provider ADP. According to Stax, Middaugh is now focused on improving the firm's infrastructure and investment, with an eye on accelerating the growth of the multi-cloud services in Singapore and Australia.
"We have entered into a cycle that will need to work its course. However, high unemployment always leads to record levels of innovation and a need to complete actions faster and cheaper. There is a shortage of supply, compounded by an excess demand for cloud engineers. Like most challenges of the last 100 years, technology presents a great way to solve old problems," stated Mike Middaugh, newly appointed MD of Stax.
Versent Group co-founder and CEO Thor Essman said Middaugh's appointment would help boost the growth of Stax in the Asia Pacific and globally. He also said that Mike has a vast experience in the cloud sector, and his appointment will help the firm solidify its base in the Asia-Pacific region and make the firm a strong contender in the cloud space.
