China Telecom has reached a massive milestone following the launch of 5G SA

The China Telecom has now reached a new milestone in its quest for becoming a 5G and cloud business. This was possible due to the company’s latest launch, known as the world’s largest standalone (SA) 5G network. In the company’s latest conference, an announcement was made by the key executives in regards to the commercial SA operations. As of now, the network can support almost 30 devices, but there is speculation that by the end of the year, it can support almost 100 devices. It was highlighted in the meeting that the SA is cloud-based, and it has combined the company’s two upcoming growth engines.

 The operators are continuing to restructure the business and the network that is working around the cloud. This process will take almost a decade to get acknowledged. Tianyi Cloud is being used by the company to back the SA network, and this guarantees 5-lives reliability. Li Zhengmao, President and COO of China Telecom, stated that the inception of the 5G era has given the company the necessary technical abilities and opportunities to integrate network and cloud. He furthermore added that the 5G SA holds unique characteristics that can help in bring in cooperation between network and cloud.
