Ketto and Rotary Club of Bombay Bay View together are raising funds for families of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel martyred in the suicide attack occurred in Pulwama, last week. The campaign is titled as: “Lets Salute and Support 44 CRPF Brave Hearts’ Families of Pulwama Terror Attack”.
The funds raised from this campaign will be donated to the familiesvia ‘BharatkeVeer Corpus Fund’.
Ketto and Rotary Club both are requesting all citizens and the good Samaritans to join this battle; gather pledges and contribute generously. For this cause, Ketto has waived off its fee as a gesture to pay homage to the brave hearts.
In a first major militant attack in three years, a massive explosion targeted a convoy killing as many as 44 CRPF personnel and wounding several others, critically. Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for this attack and identified the bomber as Adil Ahmad Dar, who was 22 years old.
The bomber, a Kashmiri local, joined the outfit last year.
CRPF Inspector General in Kashmir valley, Zulfiqar Hasan, described it as a “vehicle bound attack” and said Jammu and Kashmir Police has taken up the further investigation.

“Although no amount of money can bring back our brave hearts, we wish to stand by their families in this tragic moment: We wish to offer our crowdfunding platform to raise money, as much as we can. We will waive off all fees attached to this cause. We further wish to state that we are ready to share our technology and the entire team with the CRPF if they require any help,”Mr.Sheth said.
Anand Mane, Past President, Rotary Club of Bombay Bay View while speaking to The Silicon Review said: “I strongly condemn the attack on CPRF personnel; may their families get the strength to bear this loss. As these families are left with little means of financial support, we at Rotary are collaborating with Ketto to raise funds so that it will help them sustain.”
