Gold Buying now Launched by Google Pay: Partners with MMTC-PAMP India

Google, the tech giant has decided to partner with MMTC-PAMP India. This will be allowing Google Pay users to buy and also sell gold. All these privileges will be given through the app, which is a service that is already offered by PhonePe, Mobikwik and Paytm. Google also did mention that the partnership will be allowing India’s only LBMA accredited gold refinery. That is where users will be able to buy 99.99 per cent 24-karat gold.

AmbarishKenghe, who is now the director of product management at Google Pay, said that gold is the core culture of India. India is the world’s second largest consumer of gold. Mainly Indians buy gold for auspicious occasions. On days such as Diwali, AkshayaTriti and more, Indians tend to offer gold or pray to the deities to improve their financial stability. Google pay users are allowed to buy any value of gold. It will later be stored by the MMTC-PAMP on behalf of the user in various secure vaults. This will allow the users to buy or sell the gold they have at any time and for the latest price. All the relevant details will be updated in the app. So if you are interested you should start going through the app right away.
