Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) stated that its all-new Venue has become the highest-selling Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in India. The automobile firm also said that SUV Venue has crossed the one lakh sales market since its launch. To date, the firm has sold over 97,400 units of the model in the domestic market alone and has sold almost 7,400 in the international market.
"Hyundai has been at the helm of innovation in the automotive industry, introducing revolutionary products and technologies that have established new benchmarks. With Venue, we have pioneered gully connected technology for customers,"stated the MD and CEO of HMIL, SS Kim. The venue also becomes the highest-selling sub four-meter SUV in the January-May period 2020.
It is also reported that around 15,000 units of the have been sold with the brand-new Kappa one-liter petrol engine which is mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and master brake system. With this Hyundai is focusing on the Indian market to improve the sale of SUV vehicles. The firm also has made certain changes in its structure and model, to bring about a grandeur look. The engine has also been modified to improve the speed with fuel-saving efficiency.
