Here is the big news for all cybernauts. All women out there! It’s time for your significant work to get fruition, if you want to be listed for the inaugural Singapore 100 Women in Tech list, nominations are open.

This aims to commemorate women who have been participative in making some noteworthy contributions to tech in Singapore over the past year by revealing their stories, and in turn inspiring girls to pursue science, technology, engineering and maths.

The organisers in a joint media release said, “The women nominated could be the coder who is famed for her coding skills, the AI specialist who has developed new algorithms for healthcare, the entrepreneur who has scaled her start up, the influential business leader who has grown her business and mentored others, or the community leader who has inspired girls and women to love tech."

Nominations are open till April 30; you can submit your work online. The requirement according to the release goes like this: Nominees’ achievements and contribution should be inspiring, persuasive and gripping. They should showcase qualities like leadership, tech savvy and community advocacy.

The list will prepared by a group of industry leaders, business leaders in Singapore and men and women from academia.  The committee will be chaired by Lim Swee Cheang, Senior Advisor and former Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore.
