Ola Electric hints the introduction of its first electric car on August 15

The Ola Electric Car would be the "sportiest car ever built in India.”

Ola Electric is one of the latest entrants in the electric vehicle segment. The company's S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters have performed well, taking on the existing players like Ather and TVS. The chief executive officer of Ola Electric, Bhavish Agarwal, has hinted that the electric car will be unveiled on the country's Independence Day, August 15. He also claimed that the Ola Electric Car would be the "sportiest car ever built in India." The render shared by him confirmed this as it has a sporty look with a large glass roof and a unique tire design.

There's no information about the specifications of the electric car, including the battery pack used, the range offered, or the charging time yet. We should know more about these things in the coming days. Ola is reportedly looking for over 1,000 acres of land to build a factory for its electric cars. The upcoming factory will be almost double in size compared to its existing Future Factory, where it builds the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
