ConcertCare has a strong focus in healthcare but also does work in multiple fields such as logistics, automotive, education, supply chain, and multiple other industries. It focuses on an unlimited scope of solving business problems, issues and opportunities with technology, always focusing the Return on Investment(ROI) for the customers. ConcertCare’s work with healthcare companies has allowed it to develop several products that are built uniquely to solve problems that are specific to the healthcare industry.

Debra Hays: Interview Highlights

Q. “Earning trust and respect of consumers all around the world is through consistent focus on delivering high quality in all of our actions,” how do you interpret this statement?

We kick-off every new project with our customers and are very open that there will be risks, issues and bumps on every project. Clearly it is important for us to deliver incredibly solid, stable technical solutions, however it is in the quality of our communication where we gain the trust of our customers and partners. It is how we communicate, follow up and resolve issues that make our customers stay with us. We have many long term customers and our open policy of transparency is the most important factor in these customer relationships.

Q. How do you manage to serve the needs of highly volatile market?

The key to being a successful IT services company and a technology company that provides technology platforms for services companies so they can become technology enabled service providers we believe the most important aspect to a successful relationship is understanding the business problem and helping our customers to solve that problem with technology. We want to partner to provide technology insight for our customers.

Q. What do you feel are the reasons behind your company’s growth?

Because of the volatile market that was discussed above, it has been important for us to focus and really do what we do well. It is tempting to take advantage of all the opportunities that are presented but many times that causes a company to lose sight of their vision and mission. We have along the way adjusted the mission and vision to take advantage of some opportunities but we have been very strategic about what opportunities to take advantage of.

Q. If you have to list five factors that have been/are the biggest asset to your organization, what would they be and why?

  • Employees who want to learn and grow and are dedicated and loyal to the organization

It is important that we bring our core belief system in how we live out our lives to the organization. We want everyone we encounter to know that we are always trying our best to honor them with our core values being at the center of our professional relationships.

Q. Do you have any new products ready to be/getting ready to be launched?

 

We are very excited to be building new practices in our services business. Our most recent addition is to add Elixir as a technology that we have expertise in. We believe in always evaluating when it is appropriate to gain understanding and thought leadership in a technology and we think this is a technology that will scale and enable us to create world-class elegant solutions and applications for our customers.

Q. As a question on sustainability, where do you see your company a couple of years from now?

We are constantly growing and adapting to technology changes. As such we will continue to add solutions and we will also look for opportunities to partner with our customers to bring technology frameworks to the market that are new and solve a business problem.

TANVEER PATEL: Co-founder and CEO

She founded and managed CircleSource, a healthcare software development company, until its acquisition in 2010 by a fellow healthcare business. She’s also mentored numerous successful entrepreneurs—and has served as an investor and advisor for healthcare companies. Tanveer’s business acumen—and her expertise in growing companies, managing risk and developing international relationships.

A dedicated servant of the community, Tanveer co-founded (and serves as President of) the Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama. She is a past two-time President of the Birmingham Venture Club’s Board of Directors, and served on board of the Birmingham International Center. She also serves as a Board member of Tech Birmingham and American Heart Association.

Debra Hays: COO

Debra Hays is a talented and seasoned executive with over 25 years of management experience and 20 years of experience in technology. She brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such operations management, business process improvement, strategic direction, and channel management. With an abundance of technology platform and services experience Debra has a strong understanding of operations refinement to achieve financial and efficiency goals. This experience includes work with international technology partners in India and China.

Debra Hays serves as Chief Operations Officer, serving both our US and India office. She is responsible for the day to day operations of all aspects of the company. She has worked with several technology start-ups that have served across an array of industries including Healthcare, Public Safety, manufacturing and software development. Prior to joining ConcertCare, Debra was the COO of Vituro Health a Birmingham based healthcare company that from 2011 to 2015 Debra was the Chief Operations Officer of Emergency Call Works.
