"To provide the best technology, talent and learning solutions in the world."
When running an own business, people might have noticed that they have to do most of the tasks from answering a phone to hiring a general manager. People might argue that they know their business inside out so they don’t require any professional help. There are certain operations that anyone cannot personally undertake like handling issues in highly technical matters like management, accounting, law, and marketing. In such cases it is ideal to hire an outside expert to deal with things. Specialized knowledge and niche for areas cannot be duplicated personally by an individual so the business will require a licensed professional.
There are few factors to consider before hiring a professional like experience, understanding, ability to communicate, rapport, availability and reasonable fees. Professional service market place is a buyers’ market where one can source the right candidate but another convenient solution is to work with a service provider who has expertise in hiring professionals. The Judge Group is one such leading professional services firm based in India that specialize in providing the talent, technology, and learning solutions.
In conversation with Abhishek Agarwal, Senior Vice President (Global Delivery), The Judge Group
Why was the company set up? And how did you expand your company and its offerings over the years?
The objective of establishing Judge India was to have a key strategic global delivery center for The Judge Group in addition to serving as the offshore IT services and solutions arm of the company. The ultramodern facilities positioned Judge India to deliver our services to clients around the clock and across the globe. This also allowed us to attract the top local IT talent. Over the years, Judge India is a key component of the Judge’s global delivery strategy providing offshore and local IT services and solutions. With insights and services around all aspects of the technology, Judge India has enabled its clients to choose, design, build, implement, and manage all their organization’s IT resources and services in a way that helps their company stay on-time and on-budget.
Can you brief us about the history of your company?
The Judge Group launched their India operations in September of 2016. Judge India recently completed their successful 3 years and has now tripled their footprint with the newly renovated state of the art office. Judge India is a key strategic global delivery center for The Judge Group in addition to serving as the offshore IT services and solutions arm of the company. The newly expanded office doubles seating capacity and allows Judge India to better deliver IT solutions and IT recruiting services to its India and US based clients. The Judge Group is an industry leader in technology and talent solutions with nearly 50 years of experience. Our services are successfully delivered through a network of more than 35 offices in the United States, Canada, and India. The Judge Group serves more than 47 Fortune 100 companies and is responsible for 9,000 professionals on assignment annually across a wide range of industries.
What were the biggest initial hurdles to building your business and how did you overcome them?
My biggest initial hurdle was to replicate the cultural values of The Judge Group and building the most competent team. It is extremely important to have the right people for the right job and that their expectations are set carefully. I am clear about my vision, mission, I have the best of the ideas, but if I don’t have the right team to execute it, I will be in a fix. I am happy that I spent a lot of time building the right team that coexist beautifully with each other and was able to transform my dream into reality.
How satisfied are your clients with your service? Can you share some of your client’s success stories?
In today's digital age, people seem to communicate more, but connect less. At Judge, we aim to create personal relationships with our clients; every business opportunity and placement is a chance to grow our family. Building that lifelong connection is at the core of how the extended Judge family conducts business. Therefore, we have a long list of happy customers and we have been working with 300+ Fortune 500 Clients for a good number of years and the reason for the longevity of our relationship is our focus on Integrity, Quality & ROI.
