Digital technologies, with its recent progress, has made a huge impact on businesses and their related technologies. It is estimated that a significant part of the jobs in a firm will be substituted by automated or robot labour (Bots) in a few years. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) which forms a link between the legacy applications and digital technologies forms an important tool for legacy modernisation. Quale Infotech with its deep industry knowledge and experience helps companies incorporate RPA in their Digital strategy.

Quale Infotech is a leading end-to-end consulting and sourcing company with laser focus on RPA and AI. With its technology know-how, industry insights, experience and proprietary methodologies on knowledge management, the firm ensures business continuity and zero downtime.

In conversation with the visionary, Siddhartha Singh

Q. What is your approach towards reaching global or universal standards?

This is a thought we have had from the inception of the company – not only to reach global markets but to be a truly multi-cultural and global company. We started from the culture of our organization, whether it is following work timings and days or establishing the right policies. We have always focused on innovation and maintained a culture of integrity & accountability.

Being true to our customers and employees is the code that our senior leadership lives by. We always want to be true partners to our customers and advise them in the right way. Transparency in our approach is the key thing, and we have been open in the way we do business.

Q. How has the journey of the company been so far?

I started Quale Infotech in 2017, with a vision to be a customer-oriented digital services firm. We have adhered to that vision and have strived to be the partner of choice for our customers.

The term “Quale” refers to the individual instances of a subjective conscious experience - basically, the “what it is like” character of mental state, the way it feels such as touching, seeing red, smelling a rose, etc. AI researchers believe that machines would need to have “Quale” to be able to pass the Turing test, which was designed by Alan Turing during the 1950s. He expressed that a machine would be considered to have intelligence when it becomes indistinguishable from a human. At Quale Infotech, we work tirelessly to create AI solutions that pass the Turing test, and be as close to a human operator as feasible.

Q. Any company, big or small, must have the sense of authenticity and originality to succeed. Is your company a leader or a follower?

My role as an entrepreneur means playing the role of an anchor in every aspect of the organization, whether it is setting up the work culture & ethics, creating the roadmap for our R&D team, setting up the infrastructure, or meeting delivery deadlines.

Being part of an extremely dynamic industry since two decades has naturally instilled a constant habit of staying updated on technological trends and market research. This naturally instills into the entire organization, because everyone is not only enrolled with the organization’s vision but realise that they directly cause its realisation. This allows us to always collectively stay ahead of the curve & maintain a foresight on the market trends. Quale Infotech has, and will always operate from the premise of being a new-age and revolutionary organisation.

Q. What challenges did you face in your initial years? What can your peers learn from it?

The initial years in any new business are filled with challenges. Every aspect had its roadblocks, starting from finding an office to closing your first customer to even hiring people to deliver. I guess funds for a startup are always a challenge, whether initial years or later years, but that won’t solve any of your other problems. Each situation needs your personal attention and persistence to overcome. The most important ingredient for my peers would be patience; it takes time which may mean years for you to become a success. Be patient and persistent and you will see things happening in time.

Q. Do you have any new products ready to be launched?

We are continuously innovating as an organization, whether it is new frameworks or new products. The next major product we are launching in the next few months is a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool. We have worked with multiple tools as implementation partners, but we still see a need in the market for a truly intelligent automation RPA tool - something that can truly combine simple process automation with artificial intelligence. Our tool will fill this gap in the market, and we believe this would be a game changer for the way world looks at automation today.

Q. As a question on sustainability, where do you see your company a couple of years from now?

This is always a difficult question to answer. We have a vision to grow and be a substantial player in the digital technologies space in the coming years. The intent is to always be ahead of the market in bringing new technologies into the mainstream. This coupled with being a globally trusted brand in digital tech is where we see ourselves in the near future.

Knowing the Man behind the Success

Siddhartha Singh, Founder & CEO
